This is piece is created to reflect the joy of being alive with admiration of nature and colors that will inspire the community in the Alegre neighborhood. A public art with the Maryanne Corder Grant from the City of Tempe. This project with the City of Tempe is from the Marianne Corder Grant. I was selected as a finalist and then my design won more votes from the community to create this project. I did workshops for the neighbors to learn the technique and the process. The neighbors wanted a design that was dynamic, colorful and vibrant, so I create a multicolor design that includes the diverse cultures in the neighborhood, with flowers, a hummin

A public art for the City of Tempe located at 9th St. & Wilson in downtown Tempe in Wilson Arts & Garden District, it is made with the technique of mosaic art. A flower coming out from a tree that represents a guardian of the history of the place but that is also looking to the future. This reflects the beautiful trees all throughout the neighborhood.
