Xico Inc. developed the original Día de los Muertos festival in the Valley of the Sun. This festival traditionally is held each year on the first weekend in November. The festival includes on-going entertainment, a community altar, ethnic cuisine, folk art vendors and a traditional candlelight procession. The festival showcases performing artists and is best known for its one-of-a-kind masked performances using the masks of Zarco Guerrero.
